Professional Responsibilities & Experience

As Vice President of Development with The Robert Green Company, Mr. Maskiewicz is responsible for the preparation of all development budgets, project design and construction schedules, assisting in the selection of designers and contractors, overseeing the preparation of design documents; assisting architects in obtaining permits, licenses, and approvals.

Mr. Maskiewicz is also responsible for the coordination of all construction activities, including bid packages, the negotiation of construction contracts, reviewing and providing analysis of contractor bids. In managing the onsite construction of the general contractor, Mr. Maskiewicz’s duties include construction schedule review, participation in owner/contactor meetings, approval of change orders, monthly pay applications, and bank draws, preparation of project status reports, monitoring and coordination of the Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment design and purchase.

Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley As Development Manager on this project, Mr. Maskiewicz assisted with the negotiation of the purchase & sale agreement and CC&R’s, managed the preparation of design documents, prepared contractor bid packages, assisted in the selection of the Design Team, general contractor and contract negotiations. He also provided construction management duties, review and approval of all project change orders, claims resolution, monitoring the installation of FF&E. In addition, Mr. Maskiewicz managed the contractor close out process.

Four Season Resort Avaira – As Construction Manager, Mr. Maskiewicz was responsible for overseeing the construction of the project, participating in weekly owner/contractor meetings, reviewing and approving change orders, coordinating ongoing construction with an operating resort club.  phased construction? 

Woodfin Suite Hotels – As Vice President of Development for Woodfin Suite Hotels, Mr. Maskiewicz was responsible for the overall management of hotel design and construction, hotel renovations, and FF&E procurement. While at Woodfin, Mr. Maskiewicz over saw the design and construction of the Sorrento Mesa Hotel, a three story structure, and the Emeryville Hotel a 10 story 234 all suite hotel. Additionally, he was responsible for complete interior renovations of hotels in Tampa, Florida, Overland Park, Kansas, and Des Moines, Iowa.
