Professional Responsibilities & Experience

As Vice President of Development with The Robert Green Company, Mr. Benasso is responsible for the preparation of all development budgets, project design and construction schedules, assisting in the selection of designers and contractors, overseeing the preparation of design documents; assisting architects in obtaining permits, licenses, and approvals.

Mr. Benasso is also responsible for the coordination of all construction activities, including bid packages, the negotiation of construction contracts, reviewing and providing analysis of contractor bids. In managing the onsite construction of the general contractor, Mr. Benasso’s duties include construction schedule review, participation in owner/contactor meetings, approval of change orders, monthly pay applications, and bank draws, preparation of project status reports, monitoring and coordination of the Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment design and purchase.

Saggio Hills Resort and Residences – As Project Executive Mr. Benasso will assist in the development of the program details, the management of the design process, and the preparation of the project Development Budget, the contracting within all major design disciplines, and the coordination and formation of the Resort Association documents. Guide in the creation of a Sales & Marketing Agreement between the Owner and the selling agent.  Work with a sales and marketing consultant to analyze and define the property value of a similar community in a Resort structure to properly establish the price points for the selling of the Residential units.  

Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley – Coordinated with the Four Seasons FF&E purchasing department and managed the installation of guest room and public space FF&E, the guestroom and public space art and statue lighting and placement, and the installation of the flat screen televisions, cable TV, and pay per view boxes in each guest room.  In addition to this work Mr. Benasso also assisted with the carpet installation and finish punch activities in guest rooms and in the public space. 

Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole – Participated in the creation of the core project documents to support a Resort Association, a Condominium Association, and a Residence Club Association.  Assisted in the creation of the project budget and the area plan, which allowed for the allocation of costs amongst the various elements of the project.  Managed the Sales & Marketing effort of Four Seasons and Sotheby’s International Realty in the sale of the fractional interest product as well as the whole ownership residences.  Recommended the selling prices of the whole ownership units.
