The Robert Green Company is seeking applicants for three on-site positions related to a fully-entitled, luxury resort hotel and residential construction project in Healdsburg, CA. Construction is expected to start in early 2018 and conclude in early 2020.

Senior Level On-Site Project Manager

The Senior Level Project Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the project and on-site project team.

  • Manage performance to contract dates, obligations and notices.
  • Work with Design Team.
  • Manage the Project schedule, scope and cost.
  • Process change orders
  • Collaborate with the architect and construction crew to ensure feasibility
  • Conduct meetings on-site with architect, construction crew and other parties
  • Negotiate with vendors, suppliers and subcontractors
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field of study
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in designing and building luxury resort hotel projects
  • Ability to read blueprints, structural drawings and plan sets
  • Advanced understanding of risk management policies and procedures
  • Extensive experiencing managing budgets for large construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes and equipment

 

Project Engineer

The Project Engineer will also be responsible for the successful execution of our luxury resort hotel project. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing project inspection criteria, coordinating the review of project designs and ensuring the proper implementation of project elements.

  • Collaborate with the Senior Project Manager.
  • Develop the specifications for all equipment that is required for each project
  • Create the framework used to develop and monitor project metrics and manage the collection of project data
  • Formulate realistic parameters for each project, including design elements and implementation procedures
  • Establish the methods by which all field tests are administered and develop various ways to monitor the quality of those tests

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field required
  • Minimum 5 years’ related field and project planning experience
  • Excellent project management skills desired
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Field management experience a plus

Project Administrative Assistant

The Project Administrative Assistant will be responsible for supporting the on-site Senior Project Manager and Project Engineer. They will also provide project-related support as necessary to home office employees.

  • General clerical work
  • Answering jobsite phones
  • Typing / taking dictation
  • Filing
  • Correspondence
  • Travel Arrangements
  • Photocopying
  • Building spreadsheets, creating reports, maintaining data, updating project schedules, taking meeting minutes etc. Compose and/or edit letters, memos, reports, etc., as requested.
  • Catalogue, record and verify documentation, drawings, invoices, correspondence, schedules, etc.
  • May assist with maintaining the project schedules and accounting system, per Project Managers request. 
  • Pay on-site invoices or submitting appropriate documentation to the corporate accounting department for payment;
  • Assist Project Manager with monthly reports.
  • Establish and ensure maintenance of hard copy and or electronic jobsite files.

 

  • Minimum 3 years of Administrative Assistant experience
  • Must be dependable and have the ability to multi-task
  • Construction industry administrative experience a plus
